Mountain View Village

Applications for Mountain View Village in Lamont, CA are now available! Mountain View Village offers 40 two-bedroom apartment homes featuring vinyl plank wood flooring, a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. Residents will also have access to secured bicycle storage lockers, a laundry facility, clubhouse, on-site manager, picnic area, and playground. To get an application, call (661) 846-2117.

 

Housing Quality Inspection Changes

Starting January 2024, the Housing Authority will communicate exclusively with landlords/owners through the Rent Cafe Landlord Portal and via email. Landlords/Owners will now receive inspection notifications and results exclusively through the portal and via email.  Landlords/owners will no longer receive these notifications and results by mail. Landlords/Owners must register for an account in our Rent Cafe Landlord Portal and provide their current email address.

Rosaleda Village

Scam Alert: Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Section 8 Scams

Beware of scams targeting Section 8 applicants! Fraudsters are using fake websites and flyers to steal your personal information. There are multiple versions of the left side advertisement on various websites including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok, typically with slightly changed verbiage and dates.

    • Report the Scam: Individuals who fall victim to this or similar scams can file a complaint at the Internet Crime Compliant Center (IC3): https://www.ic3.gov/
    • HUD- Related Scams: please contact HUD’s Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) at CIRT@hud.gov
